Aujourd’hui, dans un contexte de forte compétition à l’échelle mondiale où c’est le savoir-faire industriel et la capacité d’innover qui font la différence, le cyberespionnage est devenu un enjeu sécuritaire majeur pour les États. Le cyberespace apporte-t-il une nouvelle dimension à la guerre économique ? Cet article explore les rivalités de pouvoir et les représentations qui relèvent du – et sont suscitées par – le cyberespionnage.

Abstract : The economic warfare in the age of cyberspace

During the last five years, the statements concerning cyberattacks aiming the exfiltration of confidential corporate data have increased significantly. Nowadays, cyberespionage has become a major challenge to the security of nation-states in a context of economic warfare where the industrial know-how and the innovation are the keys to the success. Is the cyberspace changing the dynamics of the economic warfare ? This paper aims to explore the power rivalries and the representations relating to and awakened from the cyber-espionage.
