Résumé :

Le titre de ce 200e numéro s’est spontanément imposé : Cinquante ans de géopolitique, hommage à Yves Lacoste car nul ne met en doute que ce grand géographe – tellement atypique dans la corporation des géographes – a eu un rôle déterminant dans le retour désormais incontestable de la géopolitique, tant chez des universitaires, qu’ils soient géographes, politistes spécialistes des relations internationales ou historiens spécialistes de l’histoire contemporaine que chez les journalistes qui furent les premiers à s’en emparer. Ce numéro commence par un regard rétrospectif sur l’histoire d’Hérodote et sur la méthode mise en œuvre au fil des numéros et sur les thèmes majeurs qui caractérisent l’approche géopolitique de la revue. La deuxième partie est quant à elle prospective puisque y sont abordées sous des angles plus inhabituels des questions géopolitiques actuelles.

Abstract : Editorial : 50 years of geopolitics, tribute to Yves Lacoste

The title of this 200th issue spontaneously imposed itself : 50 years of Géopolitique – Homages to Yves Lacoste because no one doubts that this great geographer – so atypical in the corporation of geographers – had a decisive role in the now indisputable return of geopolitics, both among academics who are geographers, political scientists specializing in international relations or historians specializing in contemporary history and among journalists who were the first to take hold of it. This issue begins with a retrospective look at the history of Hérodote and the method implemented throughout the issues, as well as the major themes that characterize the geopolitical approach of the journal. The second part is prospective as it is approached from more unusual angles of current geopolitical issues.
